Privacy

Client Privacy is important, and Attorney McKenna would never betray that privacy  in the attorney-client privilege.   Attorney McKenna will guard to his last breath Attorney-Client communications.

The Attorney-Client privilege attaches at the first phone call.   As a profession, lawyers may collaborate and network informally on a fact pattern.   This process benefits the legal profession and individual clients, but that privacy is never surrendered.    Use of the internet, speaker phones, bluetooth devices, ZOOM, Facetime and other technologies has altered how the Attorney and Client communicate.    The way we think about privacy and the use of technology has to be balanced against providing the best level of services to the client.   From internet tracking to private small security cameras, privacy is becoming more and more difficult to maintain.   Attorney McKenna will not sell, or market internet traffic information to this website.  It will be used to provide a more user friendly experience, and your input is appreciated in this regard.

While precautions are in place to make this web site and its e-mail system secure, use of the internet is a public convenience in today’s marketplace and electronic environment.   Attorney McKenna does not remotely access client files, and does not place client files “in the Cloud”.    The idea is to let the “snoops” go somewhere else.   Hackers and spammers will only evolve into a new attack field when the first one is block.  There is nothing more secure than a confidential meeting at a physical location or even a brief phone call, because emails cannot substitute for maintaining privacy.
